BOLD: Brave Open Leaders in Diversity

On September 13th-21st, a group of 24 young people from Latvia, Montenegro, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, and Greece gathered in Kotor to learn and exchange on youth participation in cultural centres across Europe and beyond.

Do all young people feel welcome in their neighbourhood's socio-cultural centre? And if not, why? And how can we change that?

These questions were discussed using different types of creative and thought-provoking informal learning activities. Then, together with the project's facilitators and external experts, participants in the exchange designed a series of workshops that featured in Against the Tide, our 2025 annual conference, challenging the conference audience to think outside the box when it comes to youth, culture, and inclusion.

BOLD is a project by Kulturni Centar Kulturni Centar Nikola Đurković, Casa Planas, the Cultural Association of Northern Riga, Interzona, Multicultural Center Brusinka and ForMe Social Enterprise, funded by Erasmus+ through the Latvian Erasmus+ national agency.
