On November 25th, 2025, from 14:00 to 15:30 CET, join the second session of our training programme that gives you the tools to have your say in European cultural policy.

Register here by November 21st

Building on the work we started at the first session of the School back in May, this second gathering will focus on the experiences of participants, with a need-oriented approach. By sharing good practices, but also failure stories, we will provide a space to better understand the common challenges cultural centres are facing.

The goal of this session is to explore how to transform a need into a concrete policy demand, from identifying advocacy issues to clearly defining problems and formulating actionable solutions. We will work on case studies identified during the workshop "Beyond Borders: Amplifying Non-EU Voices in European Cultural Networks", held by by AlterEgoX and Reset! Network at our 2025 annual conference in September. These concrete examples are intended to help mirror other challenges you have encountered or might encounter in your future work or activism.

Our guest expert Gabriele Sorce from The Good Lobby will guide us through a structured process to unpack the issues, sharpening their definition, and strategically shaping viable solutions. The goal is for participants to improve their advocacy competencies so they can contribute to policy-making at the European level, and actively participate in the ENCC's advocacy work.

Please note that the meeting will be recorded.

Please feel free to share any wishes or ideas by reaching out to Julia, our advocacy and policy officer, at julia.kasten@encc.eu.

This event is free of charge and is open to ENCC members only. You can attend this event only or register to the other initiatives foreseen within the ENCC School of Advocacy.

After each session of the School, you will receive a digital certificate of attendance.
