Cultural centres and meaningful engagement of marginalised youth

On May 27th, from 14:00 to 15:30 CET, our inclusion and accessibility working group invites you to take part in a focus group dedicated to youth engagement through culture.

The gathering is open to anyone who wants to join the conversation, aiming to bring in the voices of those with experience in youth programming and engagement, as well ad those facing challenges in making it a reality.

The focus group aims to:

  • Explore the diverse strategies employed by cultural centres to engage youth, particularly those from marginalised backgrounds;

  • Identify the specific challenges and barriers cultural centres encounter in their youth engagement efforts;

  • Share best practices and innovative approaches for fostering meaningful youth participation;

  • Generate recommendations / next steps for strengthening youth engagement in cultural centres.

Your contributions to this discussion will directly inform our work in supporting cultural centres across Europe to enhance their youth engagement practices.
