Norske Kulturhus

Norwegian Cultural Centres

Oslo, Norway

Our members are spread out from Longyearbyen in Svalbard in the north, to Lyngdal in the south. The cultural centers work and operate as professional venues, and approximately every third municipality in Norway has a cultural center that is a member of our organization. With approx. 14.5 million visitors each year, they are important contributors for the development of local meeting places, throughout the country.

Norske kulturhus works actively to enhance the development of our members, by organizing conferences and provide member support. We also function as an intermediary between the cultural centers, media and granting authorities.

Nina Hodneland is the CEO of Norske kulturhus. Her focus is to emphasize the importance of the cultural centers and their impact on society.

Hodneland has more than 15 years of experience as a manager in the Norwegian and international cultural sector and holds a master's degree in cultural management from University of Warwick in England.
