Stiftung Neue Musik-Impulse Schleswig-Holstein
Foundation Neue Musik-Impulse Schleswig-Holstein
Active in the cultural economy the Foundation aims are: Promoting new modern ways in classical music (music events, development and practice of new interpretation models for soloists and orchestras) — Promoting young talented musicians (masterclasses, international music academy for education and training, exchange between musicians from different generations) — Developing young people's interest for music heritage. Among their activities, they manage the project CLASSICAL BEAT, a new festival combining classical with modern electronic music, in the North of Europe (Germany, Denmark, Sweden, The Netherlands and France). This festival is accompanied by scientific researchers in the music-sociological field finding approaches to interest a younger generation for classical concerts. Each year, the Foundation also organises "Music Convention Circles" that connects established professionals with new talents.
